Experience Wonder
Experience Wonder offer incredible tourism experiences in WA
To take their business to the next level, they realised they needed a more deliberate, thoughtful and measurable marketing strategy in place.
CEO Matthew Winter engaged Surge Marketing to elevate their marketing program across all three tourism businesses - Ningaloo Whale Shark Swim, Dive Busselton Jetty and Perth Party Cruises.
Project goals:
Drive online channel growth
Develop the brand community
Build customer centricity
Here’s how we worked with Experience Wonder to grow their business while remaining aligned with their core values.
Project one.
Challenge
The WA border closures in early 2022 placed the entire Ningaloo Whale Shark swim season in jeopardy.
Solution
Drive tour bookings for March and April. In under 7 days, I devised an integrated digital campaign which was delivered through owned and paid media and membership/advertising channels.
Impact
The ‘early bird’ campaign ran for 6 weeks and achieved
Total reach +211K
12K new visitors to the website (+ 800 people visited the campaign LP)
+60 direct tour bookings
ROAS 8 and ROMI 400% (Overall ROMI of 2025% for the period)
This agile campaign delivered excellent results and ensured the Ningaloo Whaleshark Swim summer season could go ahead.
Award
This campaign has been recognised by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) with the 2023 Marketing Excellence Award for Small Budget Marketing.
